The wine is a blend of fruit from the highly acclaimed Barossa Valley in South Australia, selected from the Calabria family vineyard and grower vineyards.

Barossa Wine Show
Dark purple core with a vibrant hue. A multi-layered and stylish Shiraz with aromas of mulberry, violets and dark chocolate, complemented by a seamless palate of pepper & spice and fine grained slatey tannins.
Crafted under the guiding hand of the Calabria winemaking team, the fruit is hand picked and sorted to ensure perfect fruit reaches the fermenter. The Shiraz parcel was fermented on skins for 10 days in our 60 year old bespoke concrete vats before being gently pressed, and later completing malo lactic fermentation in barrel. Once completed the barrels were racked and returned to remove the lees, then matured in barrel for 12 months in 25% American and 75% French oak.
The pepper & spice characteristics will pair well with rich red meats, try Rib Eye steak
with sautéed mushrooms, this wine will also work well with smoked duck.
