Tasting Note

Maple syrup, raisin and marmalade are some of the characters apparent on the nose. Texturally viscous with a creamy like feel, it is filled with sweet concentrated flavours of raisins, honey and marmalade over fine spirit, marzipan and some classic barrel-aged characters.

Winemaking

This wine spent a minimum age of 5 years in small oak casks. These years spent maturing, combined with 6 generations of fortified experience ensures that the wine is consistent in its quality and style year in, year out.

Food Pairings

Enjoy with dark chocolate, hard cheeses, or simply savour it on its own.
