Fontanafredda Serralunga D'Alba Barolo DOCG
Fontanafredda produces wines of the highest caliber, thanks to the respect of the land, passion for vinicultural tradition, and use of innovative technology. Located in the heart of Le Langhe, a hilly wine region in the northern region of Piemonte, Fontanafredda and is spread over 250 acres of rugged terrain in the villages of Serralunga d’Alba, Barolo, and Diano d’Alba.
The colour is garnet-red with ruby thighlights that take on a slightly orange tone over time. It has a clear-cut, intense nose with overtones of vanilla, spices, withered roses and underbrush. The taste is dry, but soft, full-bodied, velvety and wellbalanced,
and is very long-lasting.
Ideal with big red meat dishes and medium or mature cheeses, it can also make for pleasant after-dinner company.
