Francesco Grand Tawny 10 Year Old
The Francesco range is dedicated to Bill’s father; Francesco Calabria’. The Calabria tradition of winemaking began in a small Italian village, in southern Italy. In 1945, this tradition transcended to a new world country, when founder, Francesco Calabria, purchased a parcel of land in the Riverina region and so the story of Calabria Family Wines began.
Rich and luscious on the palate, exhibiting mocha, raisin and molasses intensity, held together by finely aged, oak tannins. The finish demonstrates exceptional length and persistence, matched by subtle rancio complexity, further enhancing a lingering intensity.
